Do you only shoot weddings?
I shoot lifestyle portraits, headshots, events and the occasional commercial project but this website is mainly about my wedding photography.
Are my shots digitally processed?
After filtering out the redundant images I digitally process every shot to give my style of bold, vibrant images.
Do we get black and white images?
I select images that are most suitable for a black and white conversion and then individually process these using techniques that I have developed.
What albums do you offer?
I work with an Italian manufacturer that provides high quality, innovative and affordable albums. These albums come in different sizes and there is a range of covers, boxes and paper finishes.
Do we select the images for the album?
I like you to choose the images, as the album is yours and not mine. My favourite images may feature guests or moments that you don’t want in an album. I am always happy to offer advice, though most of my couples are perfectly capable of coming up with a good choice of images.
Do we get to see an album draft?
I show you the draft in special album proofing software and you can make comments in a more efficient way than email.
Do we get the high-res images?
You get the high-res images on USB or sometimes download if that proves more convenient.
What happens if it rains on my wedding day?
You enjoy your wedding and still get wonderful wedding images. The best thing is to embrace the weather and adapt to it. My featured work section features some days that were rainy.
Do you offer an assistant?
I offer an assistant for an extra fee of £250. An assistant is useful and you will get more shots. It is not necessary and I prefer to give you the choice. My assistants are professional wedding photographers that like to second shoot. I believe that if you are paying extra that you deserve a professional.
What is the booking fee?
My booking fee is £350. I take the balance before the wedding day and allow flexibility of deciding on an album before or after the wedding.
Do we meet before the wedding day?
I meet most of my local clients for a booking meeting and sometimes for a venue visit. For nationwide or destination weddings this isn’t always practical and I have met the occasional client the day before the wedding after a number of phone and email exchanges.
What expenses do you charge?
There are no expenses for nationwide weddings. For destination weddings I charge transport and accommodation.
How quickly do I see my images?
Usually within 2-3 weeks.
How long do I work on the day?
There is no set time period; it can vary from 8-12 hours. I work from bridal preparation through to first dance and a bit beyond.
Do I offer a client gallery?
There is a password protected client gallery where the bride and groom, friends and family can view the images and guests can buy images.
