Ben and Elle got married at Islington Town Hall and then journeyed to the South Bank in a hired double-decker bus. We had obtained a permit to shoot around the London Assembly buildings and we had an action-packed 30 minutes shooting with Shard reflections, fountains, and views of London Bridge. A shoot in London feels more pressured than in a hotel garden but the opportunity for pushing the boundaries and a bit more innovation is so much more. Although we had purchased a permit the security guards were very attentive and managed to ask me 3 times whether we had a permit.
After this, we got a taxi to the Leadenhall market where they had their reception in the wonderful Lamb tavern.
I really enjoyed this wedding, the couple and guests were really nice and there were so many photographic opportunities during the day.
