Lucy and Reece had their wedding day at Millbridge Court, a boutique hotel in Frensham near Farnham. Outdoor ceremonies must be more popular these days as I have photographed a lot in the last 2 years, but hardly any in my first 10-12 years as a photographer.
Lucy got ready with lots of bridesmaids inside Millbridge Court. It was a busy room with lots of bridesmaids in hair and makeup at the same time. I prefer this more chaotic atmosphere than the tranquil bride in a room having her hair and makeup on her own. The more there is to photograph, the happier I am.
After the ceremony, the guests mingled in the gardens, and I combined candid shots with group shots. Millbridge Court is a fine, compact venue and ideal for medium-sized weddings.
